The NEUERO Silo dryers are suitable for drying the consumer grain, rapeseed and corn. It is an optimal combination of drying equipment in connection with storage space (sizes up to 700 t volume available) for agricultural needs. The silo dryer is an in-house development of NEUERO with prototype protection, all installed components are manufactured by NEUERO in Germany.
The basis for the silo dryer is the NEUERO round silos made of high-quality galvanized steel sheets. The excellent workmanship ensures a high-accuracy fitting and easy assembly of the silos. A flat corrugation of the sheets prevents residues of the drying goods from remaining on the silo lining plates when emptied.
The round silo is equipped with an active stirring system (mixing augers), which depending on a size, ensures that the product to be dried is mixed and mixed well with 2-4 stirring screws. The grain distributor from NEUERO, which is driven by a geared motor (standard ATEX version), distributes the product during filling. The spreading vanes and spreading discs can be precisely adjusted.
Fully ventilated floor with warm air generators and fans ensures ventilation and drying. The NEUERO ventilation floor lies on vertically positioned profiles and has around 50% more free outlet area than conventional ventilation floors. This means that significantly more air can be blown into the silo with the same effort and the air or flow resistance is significantly lower. The perforation is designed so, that rapeseed can also be stored and dried. The individual segments can be easily removed upwards in order to be able to clean the space below the floor.
The performance and characteristics of the NEUERO WE-type warm air heaters and NV-type fans correspond to the NEUERO silo dryer system. When there is a high need for drying, two-stage burners ensure uniform heating of the “drying air” , thus achieving high system performance. The appropriate control technology such as automatic switch-off, control thermostats, hygrometers etc. can be supplied on request and can be expanded into a fully automatic control system in combination with the MANUS control system or SPS control system.
A pipe screw conveyor is located below the ventilation floor, which transports dried material out of the silo. In addition, a sweep auger with a separate drive is installed, which conveys dry material to the middle of silo during emptied.

The silo dryer is controlled by specially developed MANUS control system by NEUERO. The control can also include switching of the conveyor system of the grain mount and can also be equipped with PLC control to enable fully automatic system control.
